Training Course in Sanaa Highlights Family’s Role in Development

Sana'a: A training course on the role of the family in development was held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Local Administration and Development in Sana'a. The five-day course aims to equip female ministry staff and directors of women's departments in the provinces with knowledge and practical understanding of the family's role in development and in advancing economic and social progress.

According to Yemen News Agency, the training involves 54 participants from the ministry and various provinces. Deputy Minister Nasser Al-Mahdhar emphasized that the program is intended to strengthen participants' understanding of the family's role in supporting economic and social development, with a focus on female staff and directors of women's departments in the governorates.

He stressed that the family forms the foundation of society and plays a key role in local and rural development. Al-Mahdhar noted the ministry's commitment to integrating family-related issues into its plans and programs. He added that sustainable development depends on the participation of all segments of society, particularly the family, given its influence in shaping development outcomes.
