Directorate of Scholars and Learners Condemns Attack on Al-Hazm Correctional Facility in Al-Jawf

Sanaa: The Directorate of Scholars and Learners of the General Mobilization has condemned the crime committed by the Saudi regime against the inmates and visitors of the Al-Hazm Correctional Facility in Al-Jawf Governorate. The attack resulted in casualties and was deemed a violation of Islamic Sharia, human values, and international norms.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Directorate emphasized that this deliberate and premeditated crime against the facility's inmates and civilian visitors reflects the bloody nature of the Saudi regime, which has a long record of aggression against Yemen. The Directorate underscored that such actions represent a blatant violation of human rights and the principles of Islamic Sharia, which safeguard human life.

The Directorate issued a call to scholars, intellectuals, thinkers, and politicians to speak out against the injustice and to fulfill their legal and humanitarian duty to clarify the truth and advocate for justice. It also criticized individuals claiming to be 'preachers and scholars' who have supported the aggressor's actions, highlighting their silence on atrocities committed in Gaza.

The statement pointed out that the terrorist act is indicative of the Saudi regime's ongoing aggression against Yemen. The Directorate asserted that these crimes will not go unanswered, emphasizing that Yemen is prepared to respond forcefully to aggressors.

Furthermore, the Directorate urged local and international human rights organizations to condemn this crime and hold those responsible accountable. It called on media outlets and the international community to expose the truth about the ongoing Saudi aggression and its impact on Yemen.

The Directorate renewed its call for Yemenis to remain vigilant, unite, and support the Yemeni Armed Forces in their efforts to achieve victory. They expressed hope for divine justice against oppressors and success for the Yemeni people and Gaza.
