Hajjah: A meeting in Hajjah province today, chaired by Governor Hilal Al-Sufi, discussed the implementation level of community initiative projects.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included directors from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in the province, Abdulwahab Sanan, and the Executive Unit for Projects, Sharaf Al-Madoumi. They reviewed the difficulties facing the progress of work in several projects supported by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit and the local authority.
The meeting addressed aspects related to preparing studies for several necessary projects aimed at alleviating citizen suffering. This includes maintaining city streets, filling potholes, and maintaining road construction equipment.
During the meeting, Governor Al-Sufi emphasized the importance of uniting efforts and mobilizing energies and capabilities to complete project implementations through community initiatives in the districts. He also stressed the need for preparing studies to implement other projects.
Governor Al-Sufi affirmed the local authority's keenness to enhance coordination with the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development. The aim is to supply the province with road construction equipment to ensure the expansion of road project implementation across the districts.
