Sana'a: A meeting held today, chaired by the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, discussed the work plan of the Documentation Committee in the ministry during the upcoming phase, to enhance the organization and preservation of documents and develop management mechanisms according to professional foundations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the outlines of the proposed work plan and its implementation mechanisms in coordination with the National Center for Documents, to contribute to unifying institutional efforts and applying national standards in the field of documentation and archiving.
It also discussed arrangements for holding a specialized training course for support teams, aimed at raising their efficiency and developing their capabilities in the field of modern document management and archiving, ensuring information preservation, ease of access, and supporting institutional work within the ministry.
The Minister of Oil affirmed the importance of documentation as one of the fundamental pillars in enhancing institutional work, stressing the necessity of adhering to training plans and programs and continuous coordination with relevant authorities to achieve the best results.
