Discussion of Final Arrangements for Scientific Conference on Medicinal Honey at Sana’a University

Sana'a: A meeting at Sana'a University, chaired by the University President, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhayti, and including the preparatory committee for the scientific conference on Yemeni medicinal honey, discussed the final arrangements for launching the conference.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by the deans of Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Science, approved the adoption of Sana'a University as the main host and primary academic sponsor of the conference. The activation of the role of specialized faculties in formulating research themes was also confirmed, alongside the approval of proposed dates for scientific workshops and the accompanying specialized exhibition.

The meeting listened to the strategic plans, tasks, and objectives of the conference, presented by the Secretary-General of the conference, Abdulrahman Al-Alfi, and the heads of the scientific committee, Dr. Hassan Ibrahim, and the organizational committee, Moin Al-Mutawakkil. They discussed the research preparations completed and the progress made by the committees in meeting the scientific requirements for participations and research.

During the meeting, the University President affirmed that the conference is part of the university's scientific and national responsibility, aiming to combine academic research with the optimal utilization of Yemen's natural resources. He highlighted that assigning the university as the primary academic sponsor of the conference embodies its role as a scientific reference capable of transforming research into projects with added economic and pharmaceutical value.

Dr. Al-Bukhayti stressed the need for concerted efforts between the committees and participating parties to ensure the success of the scientific event. He emphasized the importance of producing recommendations that serve the pharmaceutical and agricultural production sectors and support the national economy.
