Discussion of Follow-up on Implementation Level of Priorities in Ministry of Information’s Plan for Years 1446 – 1447 AH

Sana'a: A meeting in Sana'a today, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, discussed following up on the progress made in implementing priorities within the ministry's plan for the years 1446 - 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Advisor to the Minister of Information, Yahya Hameed, the General Director of Planning at the ministry, Abdul Latif Hameed al-Din, Tawfiq Al-Sabri, and Abdullah Al-Afi from the Planning Sector of the Prime Ministry. They reviewed the level of implementation of the outcomes of the government workshop according to the prepared models.

The attendees focused on priorities related to the outcomes of the government workshop, such as consolidating and preserving the faith identity of the Yemeni people, confronting the soft war in various fields, regulating and rationalizing media to ensure it is effective and purposeful national media, and reforming institutional performance. Additionally, they discussed the importance of paying attention to official working hours, simplifying procedures, and improving overall performance.

The meeting addressed the procedures implemented by the ministry, the challenges encountered, and potential solutions to these difficulties.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Al-Bukhaiti emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination with relevant authorities and adhering to approved plans to contribute to raising the level of work, improving performance, and achieving the strategic goals of the ministry and its affiliated institutions.

He highlighted the necessity of redoubling efforts to achieve integration between annual plans, aligning them with the requirements of the stage, and serving the public interest. He also praised the Planning Sector of the Prime Ministry for their efforts in following up on the implementation of plans and programs in the Ministry of Information.

Al-Sabri and Al-Afi expressed their appreciation for the Ministry of Information's leadership in implementing plans and projects, monitoring performance improvements, and advancing the media role of various media institutions.
