Sana'a: A meeting in Sana'a Governorate today discussed the activities of the health sector, what has been achieved during the year 1447 AH, as well as the plan for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Director of the Health and Environment Office in the governorate, Dr. Khaled Al-Muntasir, his deputies, department directors at the office, and health office directors in the districts. The participants focused on the health week plan scheduled to be implemented in summer centers during the coming week.
The discussion also covered the need to update the database of government and private health facilities in the governorate center and districts. The attendees emphasized the importance of monitoring and supervising the services provided by these facilities, ensuring their compliance with the requirements, standards, and unified pricing approved by the Ministry of Health.
The meeting participants expressed their appreciation for the resilience of health staff working in various facilities, despite the challenges posed by the interruption of salaries and operating expenses due to the ongoing aggression and siege, as well as the suspension of donor support.
