Hajjah: A meeting in Hajjah, chaired by Deputy Governor Nabil Al-Jarb, discussed the interventions of M©decins Sans Fronti¨res at Abs Hospital.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, attended by MSF representatives, Hospital Director Dr. Ahmed Al-Khazan reviewed the significant pressure on the hospital, which provides medical services to hundreds of thousands of residents across the Tihama districts. He also outlined ways to expand interventions to improve service quality and ease patients’ suffering.
Al-Jarb highlighted the efforts of the governorate’s Health Office to coordinate with humanitarian partners in supporting health facilities, as well as the role played by MSF in this regard.
He stressed the need to expand MSF’s humanitarian interventions at the hospital to ensure the continued improvement of services provided to citizens, affirming the local authority’s commitment to overcoming obstacles hindering projects that serve the people of the governorate.
