Field Oversight Committee Evaluates Operations in Sanhan & Bani Bahlool

Sanhan: The Field Oversight Committee of Sana’a Governorate, led by Secretary-General Abdulqader Al-Jilani, recently conducted a thorough review of the operations of the local authority and executive offices within the Sanhan and Bani Bahlool districts.



According to Yemen News Agency, the visit featured key committee members such as Directors of Financial Resources, Abdu Katheer, Community Initiatives Engineer Mohammed Al-Nazzari, Improvement Fund Engineer Sami Al-Turabi, Technical Secretariat Mohammed Sharqan, Deputy Director of Finance Motia’ Muthanna, and Civil Service Abdulaziz Hadi. The committee closely examined the administrative conditions, performance levels, and existing challenges impeding task implementation and project execution across executive and service offices.



The committee also assessed performance reports from various executive offices, scrutinizing past achievements, current work plans, and compliance with administrative and technical procedures. Feedback was gathered from District Director Ali Othman, Head of the Local Services Committee Mohsen Al-Dhabyani, and other executive office directors about completed tasks, urgent operational needs, and barriers impacting performance and service provision to citizens.



Secretary-General Al-Jilani reiterated the leadership’s commitment to enhancing field oversight to boost performance and institutional efficiency, thereby increasing citizen satisfaction. He stated that these field visits align with the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the government to improve executive body performance and address deficiencies. Similar evaluations are planned for all districts within the governorate.



Furthermore, the District Director expressed the local council’s readiness to collaborate with the committee, emphasizing the importance of elevating service standards and enhancing executive office performance as shared goals among stakeholders.



The committee initiated its oversight activities in Sanhan District on 16 February 2026, as part of the governorate’s comprehensive administrative and service performance oversight plan, which targets all districts.
