Sanaa: A meeting chaired by the Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Sam Al Bashiri, discussed today plans to develop and expand the electronic services of the ministry and its affiliated bodies within the framework of automating and simplifying procedures.
According to Yemen News Agency, the technical and IT team reviewed the development and updating work on the ministry's electronic portal, the "Tasheel" portal of the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, and the "Nafetha" platform of the General Investment Authority to facilitate procedures for investors. This initiative also includes a network connectivity and integration project with relevant authorities.
Al Bashiri praised the efforts of the technical and IT team in overcoming problems and developing electronic services, contributing to simplifying procedures and speeding up transaction completion. He affirmed that the ministry and its affiliated bodies have achieved qualitative steps in automating procedures and transitioning towards electronic work, which enhances the business environment in Yemen.
