Paris: The Tenders Committee at the University of Ibb, chaired today by the University President Dr. Nasr Al-Hijili, discussed the progress of tender procedures included in the university's development plans.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by the University Secretary-General Abdulmalik Al-Saqaf and his deputy Nabil Al-Warafi, reviewed matters related to completing a number of tender procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. These included a tender for the implementation of partitions, glass works, and benches for laboratories on the third floor of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences building, aimed at enhancing laboratory infrastructure and providing an advanced educational environment.
The committee also discussed a tender for the supply, installation, and operation of pharmacy laboratory equipment at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as a project to rehabilitate several buildings of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences. These initiatives come as part of the university's efforts to modernize its academic and service facilities.
In the meeting, Dr. Al-Hijili reaffirmed the university leadership's commitment to adhering to all legal and technical procedures in implementing tenders, ensuring the highest standards of quality, transparency, and contributing to the development of the educational and research process across the university's various faculties.
He noted that the university is continuing to implement its development plans according to the priority needs of faculties and scientific disciplines, stressing the importance of completing vital projects-particularly those related to laboratories and applied equipment, which constitute a key pillar in producing highly qualified graduates.
