Sa'ada: A meeting in Sa'ada Governorate, chaired by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabih Nasser, discussed preparations to begin the turfing project for the governorate's main stadium, as well as ways to activate youth, awareness, skills-development, and sports programs.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Ministry Undersecretary for Youth Abdullah Al-Razihi and Sa'ada officials Ali Al-Dhaheri and Ibrahim Al-Namri. The discussion emphasized the importance of joint efforts to advance youth and sports activities and prioritize key projects, particularly the stadium turfing project.

Nasser noted that the youth and sports sector in Sa'ada had faced extensive destruction and systematic targeting of its facilities during the Saudi-Emirati-US-Israeli aggression. He affirmed the ministry's commitment to rehabilitation, reconstruction, and support for youth and athletes by providing equal opportunities for clubs and sports organizations across the country.

He also highlighted the importance of cooperation with local authorities in implementing youth and sports projects and strengthening educational and physical activities at clubs and youth centers.

Al-Razihi underscored the need to provide an appropriate environment for youth development, protect them from destructive ideas, the 'soft war,' and empower them to play an active role in serving the nation.

The local officials expressed their readiness to facilitate the implementation of ministry programs and projects, stressing the urgent need to rehabilitate and rebuild the damaged youth and sports infrastructure in Sa'ada to meet young people's aspirations and accommodate their talents.
