Discussion on Cleanliness & Improvement Fund Plan in Al-Bayda

Al-bayda: The Board of Directors of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Al-Bayda Governorate held a meeting today, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, to discuss the fund's plan to enhance sanitation and improvement efforts.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Executive Director of the Fund, Eng. Mohammed Jamal, presented a report outlining the fund's activities and tasks during the third quarter of the current year 1447 AH. The report highlighted key needs, challenges facing operations, and ways to address them, focusing on strengthening revenue collection and tackling existing difficulties. It also covered efforts to improve cleanliness in streets and neighborhoods and requirements to boost performance and enhance the overall appearance of cities.

The meeting approved the fund's final accounts for 2025 and endorsed the formation of a committee to complete the implementation of a project to purchase land for a new waste disposal site in Al-Bayda city. Governor Idris stressed the importance of the fund's role in sanitation work, preserving the environment, and preventing waste accumulation in neighborhoods and on main and secondary streets.

He praised the efforts of the fund's workers for their continued performance despite the difficult conditions the country faces due to ongoing repercussions of aggression and blockade. The governor urged local councils and relevant offices to coordinate with the fund to enable it to carry out its duties and overcome current challenges.
