Sana'a: The "Greatest Messenger" football tournament kicked off today in the Hamdan district of the Sana'a governorate. This event is organized by the Youth and Sports Office in the district in collaboration with the Youth Unit of the Mobilization, in celebration of the Prophet's birthday anniversary.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament is being conducted under the supervision of the Local Council and the Governorate Youth Office. It carries the slogan "At your service, O Messenger of Allah," and features 12 teams participating in the first stage, divided into four groups.
The tournament's opening match took place at the Al-Shahid Al-Sammad School stadium. The match featured the teams of Al-Shahid Al-Sammad and Al-Quds, with Al-Shahid Al-Sammad emerging victorious by two goals to nil.
