Ibb University Organizes Mass Rally to Protest Saudi-Led Blockade on Yemen

Ibb: Ibb University organized a massive rally on Wednesday to affirm its steadfastness in confronting the Saudi enemy and to reject its continued aggression, the imposition of a blockade on the Yemeni people, and its interference in Yemeni affairs.

According to Yemen News Agency, the rally was attended by University Rector Dr. Nasr al-Hujaili, the governorate's mobilization officer Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, the university's vice presidents for graduate studies Dr. Fouad Hassan and for student affairs Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum, as well as deans of faculties, academic and administrative leaders, and students. Participants emphasized Yemen's unwavering stance of responding to blockades with blockades and escalations with escalations until the Saudi-led aggression and blockade are ended and all the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people are restored.

They condemned the repeated insults to the Holy Quran by the enemies of Islam and Muslims, naming the criminal Americans and Zionists, and noted that these crimes will only strengthen the Yemeni people and the Muslim nation's adherence to the Holy Book of God.

The statement issued at the rally indicated that the systematic crimes perpetrated by global powers of arrogance will only increase the Yemeni people's steadfastness, resilience, and adherence to their principles, faith-based values, the teachings of the Holy Quran, and the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

The statement affirmed the continued steadfastness, unity, and readiness to confront the conspiracies and schemes aimed at undermining Yemen and its supportive stance on just causes. It emphasized the importance of raising societal and academic awareness of the dangers of these conspiracies and instilling a sense of national responsibility among university members.

The statement reiterated the importance of strengthening awareness, insight, and steadfastness in the face of challenges, and translating faith-based and patriotic stances into practical actions that enhance social cohesion and preserve Yemen's sovereignty and independence.

It stressed the need to continue raising readiness and responsible action, strengthening unity, solidarity and cooperation, and confronting attempts to sow discord, in order to protect the home front, support the path of resilience and confront the repercussions of the aggression.
