Discussion on Enhancing Facilitation for Investment Projects

Yemen: A meeting chaired by the Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, discussed aspects related to providing further facilitation for investment projects through the One-Stop Shop Center.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by the Chairman of the General Investment Authority, Mohammed Ishaq, reviewed the draft of the second phase of the national strategy for developing and localizing pharmaceutical industries and medical supplies, as well as the mechanism for granting customs and tax exemptions on fixed assets for investment projects.

The Acting Minister of Economy emphasized the importance of continuously developing the operational mechanisms of the One-Stop Shop Center affiliated with the General Investment Authority, in a way that ensures greater facilitation for investors, addresses any challenges in coordination with relevant entities, and fosters an attractive and encouraging investment environment. He also affirmed the commitment of the government, the ministry, and the General Investment Authority to addressing any difficulties facing investors through sustainable solutions that enhance confidence in Yemen's investment environment.
