Amran: A meeting was held in Amran Governorate today, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Jamaan, to review the progress of implementation of service and development projects in the fields of roads, urban planning, and public works across a number of districts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included Sultan al-Qurahi, Director of Public Works; Salah al-Qahoum, Director of the Executive Unit; and Akram Faie, Director of Lands and Urban Planning. They discussed the implementation procedures for projects approved for the current year, as well as the supplementary plan for essential and service projects in various districts.
The discussions emphasized the importance of implementing the second phase of the Raydah Culvert Paving Project, launching the approved projects in Bakil al-Suwaid District, completing the rehabilitation of internal roads in Amran City, finalizing the registration of government-owned lands and properties, and completing the update of the governorate’s master plan. The meeting also highlighted the need to begin urban planning projects for four areas in al-Sawd District, al-Wark area of Iyal Suraih District, and the Raydah and Kharf Districts.
Governor Jamaan underscored the importance of completing all projects approved under the governorate’s plan, stressing the need to implement essential infrastructure projects to alleviate citizens’ suffering and ensure their completion in line with technical standards and engineering studies.
He urged all relevant authorities to address the challenges hindering project implementation to help meet the urgent service and development needs of citizens.
