Al-bayda: A meeting was held on Sunday in Al-Bayda Governorate, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, to discuss mechanisms for supporting and backing community initiatives, implementing service, and development projects across the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed a report by Abdulnasser Al-Humayqani, Director of the Community Initiatives Department in the governorate, on the outcomes of the workshop held in Al-Hodeidah Governorate. The workshop focused on unifying efforts for community initiatives, work mechanisms, and tasks to be carried out within the general directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council to activate community initiatives to meet local development needs across the districts.
The meeting, which included relevant authorities, also addressed aspects related to developing the equipment movement system of the Executive Unit. The aim is to ensure its operation and effective utilization according to well-planned and organized programs that meet the needs and requirements of community projects.
Additionally, the discussion covered aspects related to supporting farmers with solar energy systems and modern irrigation networks. This support will help water their farms from dams, barriers, and wells under their management, contributing to agricultural expansion.
During the meeting, Governor Idris affirmed that supporting community initiatives reflects the directives of the Revolution Leader and the guidance of the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council. He emphasized attention to service aspects and backing initiative projects to contribute to development.
Governor Idris stressed the importance of activating the role of community initiatives as a supportive partner to official efforts in achieving service and development projects. He appreciated the level of community engagement in completing these projects.
Governor Idris also highlighted the necessity of mobilizing local energies, resources, and harnessing community capabilities to achieve sustainable local development. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness to confront challenges and threats aimed at undermining the homeland, its security, and stability.
