Discussion on Performance of Public and Private Health Sectors in Al-Bayda and Strengthening Oversight Role

Al-bayda: A meeting held on Monday in Al-Bayda, attended by the province's deputies, Saleh Al-Joufi and Nasser Al-Wahbi, discussed the performance of the public and private health sectors in the province, focusing on their compliance with approved guidelines and standards.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included key health officials such as the Director of the Health Office in Rada'a, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hubsi, and the Director of Pharmaceutical Facilities, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Marisi. The discussions emphasized the importance of correcting the conditions of health facilities to ensure they adhere to health standards, applicable to both medical facilities and pharmacies.

The attendees stressed the need for enhanced oversight of medical facilities, regulation of service and medicine prices, and raising community awareness about improper medication practices. They highlighted the necessity of coordination among relevant authorities and enforcing legal regulations against violators to ensure compliance with approved standards and guidelines by pharmacies and medical institutions.

Additionally, the province's deputies, Saleh Al-Joufi and Nasser Al-Wahbi, reviewed the level of medical and treatment services provided at Al-Arsh Rural Hospital and the health center in the Azzan area of the district. The review was conducted alongside the Director of Rada'a Central Hospital, Dr. Ali Jaroun, who listened to explanations from the Director of the District Health Office, Dr. Ali Al-Juraidi, and the Director of Al-Arsh Rural Hospital, Dr. Tawfiq Jahish, regarding the level of services and the hospital's needs for medicines, medical supplies, rehabilitation, and training.

The deputies commended the efforts of the medical and administrative staff at the hospital and health center, affirming the province's leadership's commitment to supporting the health sector, improving its efficiency, alleviating citizens' suffering, and enhancing the quality of treatment services.
