Discussion on Securing Raw Material Supplies for Mineral Water & Plastics Industries

Sana'a: A meeting was held on Sunday at the Capital's Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss ways to secure raw material supplies for the mineral water and plastics industry sectors. The meeting, chaired by the Chamber's Vice President Muhammad Salah, approved the formation of a technical committee to develop a comprehensive study and integrated matrix addressing the essential needs of the three sectors, accompanied by practical solutions from all relevant parties, aimed at strengthening the national industry and ensuring the sustainability of its production activities.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, the Vice President emphasized the pivotal role of the national industry in meeting citizens' daily needs. The discussion highlighted the necessity of a coordinated effort to ensure the steady supply of raw materials, which are crucial for the continuous operation of these sectors.

The meeting also saw the attendance of Qais Al-Kamim, Head of Sectors, Adel Al-Khawlani, Executive Director of the Chamber, and several other sector heads. These officials underscored the importance of collaboration among different stakeholders to address the challenges faced by the mineral water and plastics industries, which are vital to the economy.
