Hodeidah: A joint meeting between Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeidah and the Public Corporation for Spinning and Weaving Industry discussed on Tuesday the mechanism for supplying the hospital with local cotton and medical supplies, such as gauze and medical clothing.
According to Yemen News Agency, this initiative is part of efforts to support the national product, reduce the import bill, provide job opportunities, and stimulate cotton cultivation. The head of the Hospital Authority confirmed their preparedness to provide all necessary facilities for purchasing local products that meet their requirements.
The Director of the Spinning and Weaving Corporation stated their commitment to manufacturing products with specifications suitable for the climatic conditions in Hodeidah. They also highlighted the restart of the factory and the rehabilitation of the cotton gin to enhance production readiness.
