Discussion & Preparation of Strategic Plan for College of Education & Applied Sciences in Al-Jawf

Al-jawf: The College of Education, Applied and Human Sciences in Al-Jawf Governorate, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at Sana'a University, organized a scientific workshop titled 'Discussion and Preparation of the College's Strategic Plan.' The event aimed to discuss and formulate the college's strategic plan to align with the rapid developments in the field, ensuring that the outcomes meet the demands of the labor market and the local community.

According to Yemen News Agency, Fayez Al-Saeed, representing the President of Sana'a University, emphasized the workshop's significance in shaping the future of education and scientific research in Al-Jawf Governorate. He highlighted that the college accommodates 600 male and female students across various specializations, necessitating strategic directions that align with the college's goals and its surrounding environment.

Dr. Munir Al-Azzani, Deputy Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at Sana'a University, stressed the workshop's role in developing a strategy specific to the college. This strategy is a crucial step toward enhancing educational performance and achieving institutional accreditation, aligning the college's strategic directions with labor market needs and community expectations.

Dr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Dahsha, Dean of the College of Education, Applied and Human Sciences, stated that the workshop aims to discuss and approve the draft vision, mission, goals, and values of the college. This initiative is intended to keep pace with global developments and changes. He described the workshop as a pivotal point in the educational journey, setting the course for the college and governorate to advance education and improve outcomes. He also commended the Quality Assurance Unit team and the research team for their efforts in drafting the initial version of the strategic plan, which includes values that will guide the college's interactions with its environment and target groups.
