Taiz: The Health and Environment Office in Taiz province has distributed medicines and medical supplies to 58 health facilities. This distribution is part of the Human Capital Project and the GAVI Project, supported by UNICEF.
According to Yemen News Agency, the distribution targeted health facilities across the districts of Al-Ta'iziyah, Mawiyah, Shar'ab Ar-Rawnah, Shar'ab As-Salam, Salah, Maqbanah, Al-Masrakh, Hayfan, Sabr Al-Mawadim, As-Salu, Sami', and Al-Mawasit. Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Mutawakel, Director General of the Health and Environment Office, stated that these efforts aim to enhance healthcare services and alleviate the financial burden on patients who struggle to afford medication.
Dr. Al-Mutawakel commended the Ministry of Health and local authorities for their continued support of the health sector in these districts, emphasizing their role in improving the quality of healthcare services available to citizens.
