Sana'a: A tribal mediation in the Sana'a governorate successfully resolved a murder case between the Talabi family from Bani Matar and the Al-Barqi family from Nihm, bringing an end to an eight-year-long dispute. The reconciliation was formalized during a tribal meeting attended by Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, and Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, the governor of Sana'a, alongside several tribal leaders.
According to Yemen News Agency, the blood relatives of the victim, Akram Mansour Talabi, declared their forgiveness for the perpetrator, Murad Saad Al-Barqi. This act of forgiveness was made in the spirit of God and in response to directives from the revolutionary leader Sayyid Abdul Malik Al-Houthi. The mediation committee commended the relatives' decision, stating that it reflects the values of tolerance and unity.
Furthermore, the committee encouraged all involved parties to focus on national interests and unite against external threats. They emphasized that forgiveness is a defining characteristic of authentic Yemeni tribes and plays a crucial role in strengthening internal unity, security, and stability within Yemen.
