Sana'a: Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtour, member of the Supreme Political Council, sent a condolence message mourning the passing of prominent journalist and sports commentator Ali Hamoud Al-Asri, following an outstanding career in sports media.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Bin Habtour praised Al-Asri's virtues and his significant contributions as a presenter and producer of sports programs, including the renowned program 'With Sports'. He highlighted Al-Asri's service to the sports and youth sectors over more than four decades. Al-Asri was noted as one of Yemen's most distinguished commentators, covering local championships as well as numerous international and continental tournaments.
Dr. Bin Habtour emphasized that the nation has lost one of the pioneers of sports media in Greater Yemen, whose impact and experience have left a lasting mark for future generations in this field. He expressed his deep condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased, his relatives, and the Yemeni media and sports community, praying to Allah Almighty to grant him vast mercy and forgiveness, admit him to His spacious paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon his family, relatives, colleagues, and loved ones.
