Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Adel Badr, conducted a review of work discipline at the Public Corporation for Electrical Industries and the Public Corporation for Water and Sanitation.

According to Yemen News Agency, Badr, joined by the Undersecretary for the Electricity Sector, Eng. Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, received briefings from Abdulghani Al-Madani, head of the Electrical Industries Corporation, and Eng. Fawaz Qiran, head of the Water and Sanitation Corporation. The focus was on workflow and employee discipline just three days after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Badr stressed the importance of maintaining staff commitment to official working hours at both corporations to fulfill their responsibilities effectively. He highlighted the critical role of the Electrical Industries Corporation in renewable energy development and its plans to implement projects aimed at advancing the electricity sector, which has faced challenges due to Israeli attacks that have led to the shutdown of power generation stations.

Badr voiced his hope for collaborative efforts to improve the electricity and water sectors to better serve citizens and ease their hardships during challenging times. Al-Madani detailed the corporation's ongoing efforts amid a merger process and its renewable energy projects, which aim to operate well stations, cut petroleum derivative costs, and protect the environment.
