Lahj: The Subcommittee for Activities, Summer Courses, and Mobilization in Lahj Governorate launched the summer course activities for the year 1447 AH under the slogan: "Knowledge and Jihad."
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch event was attended by notable figures including Deputy Governor Faisal Al-Faqih, Head of the Subcommittee for Summer Courses Yahya Al-Shahri, Head of the Organizational Department of Ansar Allah Abdulhamid Al-Shahri, and the governorate's Mobilization Officer Jamil Al-Sufi. During the event, Ibrahim Al-Shahri, the Mobilization Officer for the southern governorates, emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure the success of the summer course activities and to strengthen the educational front.
Al-Shahri highlighted the responsibility of all parties in supporting summer activities and events to achieve desired goals and to encourage youth participation. He stressed the importance of equipping the youth with beneficial knowledge, protecting them from misleading cultural influences, and honing their skills. Additionally, Al-Shahri underlined the necessity of community involvement in supporting official efforts to ensure the success of the summer courses and to select qualified individuals to teach in both model and open summer courses.
Yahya Al-Shahri, Head of the Subcommittee for Summer Courses, detailed the committee's efforts across the governorate and districts to maintain the continuity of the educational process in the summer courses, despite challenges posed by external aggression. He noted the importance of serious participation from everyone to make the activities successful. Al-Shahri also mentioned that open and model schools have been designated for this year's summer courses in Al-Qubaita District, following the plans set by the Higher Committee for Summer Courses.
Meanwhile, the governorate's Guidance Sector Officer, Al-Karrar, affirmed the revolutionary leadership's interest in fortifying youth with a faith-based identity and Qur'anic culture, aiming to build a generation armed with Qur'anic knowledge capable of facing all challenges.
