Sanaa:Yemeni Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation President and Arab Federation Vice President, Dr. Najib Al-Joufi, has announced his candidacy for the Vice President position of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) for Asia in the upcoming Executive Council elections.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Joufi's decision to run is motivated by his extensive service to the sport of bodybuilding and fitness, where he has worked closely with athletes, federations, referees, and coaches. He has contributed to the sport's development and its presence at both Arab and Asian levels.
Al-Joufi has reached out to the heads and members of the Arab and Asian national federations, as well as the International Federation's member federations, seeking their support and votes in the upcoming elections. He emphasized that his candidacy is not solely for Yemen but reflects his commitment to serving the Asian continent and fostering collaboration among federation members.
His vision includes supporting the sport's development, enhancing international cooperation, and increasing opportunities for athletes and officials, while maintaining the history, values, and legacy of bodybuilding. Al-Joufi expressed his hope to earn the international bodybuilding community's trust and support, aiming to contribute to a more advanced future for the sport in Asia and worldwide.
