Tokar: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nowara Abu-Mohamed, recently inspected the situation in Tokar. She was accompanied by Red Sea State Wali, Lt. Gen. Mustafa Mohamed Nour, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, and the Security Committee.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Nowara assured that the demands of the citizens are seen as legitimate rights and will be addressed by the appropriate authorities. Her visit underscored the commitment to ensuring that these needs are met.
The Wali of Red Sea State, Lt. Gen. Mustafa Mohamed Nour, highlighted that the situation in Tokar is stable. He acknowledged the efforts of the citizens in combating floods and noted the significant role played by the deployed machinery in repairing breaches.
During the visit, meetings were held with native administration, youth leaderships, and community dignitaries. Inspections were conducted on protective embankments, reinforced dikes, and Tokar General Hospital. The Wali instructed that the machinery remain in place as a precautionary measure to ensure ongoing stability in the region.
