Economy Acting Minister Assesses Ministry Operations in Al-Hodeidah

Al-hodeidah: Sam Al-Bashiri, Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, conducted a visit to the Ministry's office in Al-Hodeidah to examine the progress of work, administrative operations, and services related to economic and investment activities.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bashiri inspected various departments, including Archives, Companies, and Inspection, and reviewed the office's e-portal and digital transformation efforts. He also assessed procedures for licensing and supporting investors and businesses. Al-Bashiri highlighted Al-Hodeidah's strategic economic and industrial importance, given its proximity to ports and local industries, and underscored the office's role in market regulation, consumer protection, and investment promotion.

Office Director Saleh Atifah expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that it reflects the Ministry's commitment to monitoring its offices, evaluating performance, and improving services for both citizens and the private sector.
