Sana'a: Economy Acting Minister, Sam Al-Bashiri, took center stage at Al-Zarafi Stadium to honor the teams participating in the 'Martyr President Al-Sammad' football championship, a competition for ministries, authorities, and government institutions organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports during Ramadan. The event marked a significant moment as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology secured third place with a 1-0 victory over the Ministry of Economy and Industry, which took fourth place.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bashiri lauded the organization of the tournament and the enthusiastic participation from various ministries, authorities, and institutions. He emphasized the championship's role in honoring the memory of great martyrs, while also fostering a sense of belonging and strengthening the bonds among employees. At the conclusion of the match, he awarded medals to both the Communications and Economy teams, recognizing their efforts and participation in the tournament.
