Evening Commemoration in Northern Districts of Hodeidah on Imam Ali’s Martyrdom Anniversary

Hodeidah: The northern districts of Hodeidah Governorate organized a Ramadan commemoration event in the Qanawis District, marking the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him). The event was held under the slogan 'Victory by the Kaaba Lord.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the commemoration was attended by several notable figures including the Governor's Deputy for Northern Districts Affairs, Ghalib Hamza, Commander of the Northern Axis and Mobilization Officer, Major General Fadel Al-Dhyani, and Deputy Director of Security for the Northern Region, Colonel Saddam Musa, along with district directors and security officials. The event highlighted Imam Ali's significant role in Islamic history and his embodiment of justice, courage, and support for the oppressed.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of renewing loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali (peace be upon him) through this commemoration. They stressed the deep spiritual and emotional bond the Yemeni people have with the Prophet's successor, a connection that dates back to the early days of Islam when Yemenis were known for their defense of truth and religion.
