Al-bayda: A Ramadan evening event was held in Al-Sawadiyah District of Al-Bayda Governorate to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, under the slogan 'By Al-Kaaba Lord, I have succeeded.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Deputy Governor Ali Sheikh, Director of Al-Sawadiyah District Yasser Al-Suwadi, and Mobilization Official Ragheb Al-Muayyad. Speakers at the event described the anniversary of Imam Ali's martyrdom as an important faith-based occasion to draw lessons and inspiration from his life, approach, courage, and sacrifices in calling for Islam and establishing the foundations of the Islamic state.
The speakers also praised the stance of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the Yemeni people who support the peoples of Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq in confronting what they described as the American and Zionist aggression with determination, courage, and dignity.
They stressed the nation's need to return to its great figures, follow their example, and uphold their principles, warning of the dangers of abandoning the values they stood for.
The speakers called for embodying the positions of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in facing current challenges and strengthening resilience and unity during the present stage, as several Arab and Islamic nations confront forces of global hegemony led by the United States and Israel.
