Economy & Industry Acting Minister Visits Hamas Office in Sana’a

Sana'a: Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, visited the office of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" in Sana'a on Monday and met with the movement's representative in Yemen, Muadh Abu Shmaila.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Al-Bashiri expressed admiration for the resilience of the Palestinian people in the face of what he described as Zionist terror in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized Yemen's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and highlighted measures taken by the Ministry of Economy and Industry to boycott American goods, aligning with Yemen's official and popular stance in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The Hamas representative in Sana'a praised Yemen's position under the leadership of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, acknowledging its support for the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation. Abu Shmaila also noted Yemen's military operations against Israel and the frequent demonstrations in support of Palestinians, affirming the lasting impact of Yemen's actions on the Palestinian people's collective memory.

Abu Shmaila commended the measures taken by the Ministry of Economy and Industry regarding the boycott, emphasizing its importance as a tool against opposition forces. At the end of the meeting, he presented Al-Bashiri with the movement's shield in recognition of the ministry's efforts in the boycott and support for the Palestinian people.
