Economy Minister Reviews ‘Nafida’ Unified Investment Platform Services

Sana'a: Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment Eng. Maeen al-Mahaqeri discussed the services of the Unified Investment Platform "Nafida" with the General Investment Authority on Monday.

According to Yemen News Agency, Chairman Yasser al-Mansour explained that the platform will offer 190 services through a single window, gradually integrating with government agencies to expedite approvals and permits for investors. A services guide has been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Civil Service to streamline the process.

Minister al-Mahaqeri commended the platform as a key component of the government's economic stimulus initiative, aimed at simplifying public procedures through digitalization. He highlighted the platform's role in enhancing the business environment and aligning with the Investment Law. The Minister emphasized the urgent need for the platform to establish connections with all relevant agencies and to promptly launch its services.

Additionally, the Minister noted that the Ministry of Economy already provides all 76 of its services electronically. The Ministry is also launching the "Yemen Barcode" platform for national products and the "Motamad" platform for e-stores, which offer free services to small businesses and productive families.
