Sana'a: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research has announced the extension of the registration period for competitive admission to free seats in public and private universities, community colleges, and technical institutes until Saturday, 20 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to June 6th. This date marks the final deadline for applications submitted through the online portal.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry explained that the extension aims to provide an opportunity for students who were unable to register through the online portal for free seats. The Ministry has urged both male and female students wishing to compete for free seats for the academic year 1447 AH to ensure prompt and accurate registration within the specified period.
As a final step in the registration process, students are required to obtain their application number and pay the associated fees via CAC Bank's Express Service. They should retain the original payment receipt to be eligible for the competency exams, the dates of which will be announced later.
The Ministry has set the deadline for payment as Monday, 22 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to June 8, 2026 AD. It has called on all those wishing to register or seeking information and inquiries to visit the electronic portal website at "mohesr.gov.ye".
