Education Ministry Honors Imam Zaid ibn Ali’s Martyrdom

Sana'a: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Zaid ibn Ali (peace be upon them) under the slogan "Insight and Struggle." The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan al-Sa'di, and highlighted the importance of the occasion in the Islamic consciousness.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem al-Du'ais emphasized the profound meanings of sacrifice and selflessness embodied by Imam Zaid. He remarked on the Imam's life as a complete school of thought, combining knowledge and action, and his role as an ally of the Quran. Dr. Al-Du'ais reflected on the Imam's unwavering commitment to truth and his battle against injustice and corruption, portraying him as a model of religious and humanitarian responsibility.

Dr. Al-Du'ais urged the nation to revive the values Imam Zaid advocated and to draw inspiration from his noble life and stand against tyranny and oppression.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Majali, Deputy Head of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance, discussed Imam Zaid's revolution, his resilience, and his famous sayings. Majali highlighted the Imam's virtues, his defiance against injustice, and the sacrifices he made, including the suffering and abuse his body endured post-martyrdom. Majali stressed the importance of emulating Imam Zaid's heroism in confronting aggression and learning steadfastness from the Prophet's family.
