Education Ministry Protests Saudi Aggression in Yemen

Sanaa: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research organized a protest today to denounce Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people and to express support for the operations of the armed forces.

According to Yemen News Agency, the demonstration was attended by Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem Al-Daeesh, along with various ministry officials, academic and educational leaders, and staff. The participants vocally condemned the ongoing airstrikes and blockade imposed by Saudi forces.

A statement released during the protest highlighted recent airstrikes across several provinces over the past four days, which resulted in civilian casualties, including women, children, and medical personnel. The statement described these actions as a blatant violation of international law and norms.

The statement further urged the United Nations, the Security Council, and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their responsibilities by pressing for an end to the aggression and lifting the blockade. It also called on human rights and humanitarian groups to publicly denounce the attacks.

Participants at the protest reiterated their support for the armed forces' operations, warning that any continued escalation would lead to further strategic military responses. The statement concluded by urging Yemenis to unite and fortify their resilience in confronting the occupation and its allies, working collectively toward liberation, the restoration of rights and resources, and the achievement of freedom and independence.
