Educational Event in Al-Sabeen District Marks Prophet’s Birthday

Capital secretariat: An educational event was held on Wednesday at Al-Maqbali Basic School for Girls in Al-Sabeen District of the Capital Secretariat to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birthday. During the event, Deputy Secretary of the Capital for Administrative Units, Ali Al-Qafri, stressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth, drawing lessons from his life and biography, and following his example in upholding values, morals, and prophetic qualities.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Qafri called for the continuation of celebratory activities and participation in the major event marking this great occasion on the 12th of Rabi' Al-Awwal. He also praised the efforts of the school's administration, staff, and students in preparing and organizing the event as an expression of joy and gratitude for the birth of the noble Prophet.

Al-Qafri also addressed the crimes, genocide, and starvation being committed by the U.S.-backed Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied territories. He affirmed that Yemen's leadership, people, and army stand in solidarity with the Palestinian cause and its steadfast resistance.

During the celebration, attended by Abdullah Ubaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Capital Secretariat, the school principal, Amah Al-Kafi Al-Rahbi, highlighted the significance of expressing joy in the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday. Al-Rahbi emphasized that the celebration serves as a reminder of the Prophet's pure life and strengthens the bond with his righteous path.
