Educational Event in Sana’a Commemorates Battle of Badr and Imam Ali’s Martyrdom

Sana'a: The Educational Sector in Sana'a Governorate organized a speech event commemorating the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, known as the "Day of Criterion," and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Governor emphasized that the victory at Badr played a crucial role in establishing the pillars of Islam and defeating falsehood. He highlighted that the nation is currently facing injustices due to Zionist-American aggression in regions including Iran, Lebanon, and Gaza. The Deputy Governor urged the community to make the most of the remaining days of Ramadan by returning to God, adhering to the teachings of the Quran, and supporting the Leader of the Revolution to confront these challenges.

Cultural activist at the event discussed the significance of Imam Ali's life, encouraging attendees to strengthen their connection to his teachings and emulate his actions and words. The event also featured a poem by poet Diaf Allah Al-Rajhi, adding a literary dimension to the commemoration.
