Al-mahwit: The Mobilization Office in Al-Mahwit Governorate has initiated a project to distribute Ramadan food baskets to 6,000 beneficiaries from the poorest and most needy families across the governorate's districts, facilitated by the Enmaa Foundation for Development.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Hussein Arqad emphasized the significance of the food basket project as a humanitarian initiative. This project aims to strengthen social solidarity and alleviate the difficulties faced by needy families during the holy month of Ramadan. He highlighted that the initiative targets a broad segment of impoverished and vulnerable families, assisting in fulfilling some of their nutritional needs during the blessed month while promoting values of compassion and cooperation within the community.
Mobilization official Ismail Sharaf Al-Din acknowledged the support from the Enmaa Foundation for Development in executing the food basket project for impoverished families, especially under challenging conditions. He expressed the mobilization leadership's commitment to backing charitable and humanitarian efforts that help reduce the burden on needy families. Furthermore, he urged philanthropists and charitable organizations to amplify their efforts and broaden humanitarian work during the holy month of Ramadan.
