Sana'a: The Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development announced that the Eid al-Adha holiday for all employees in state administrative units, as well as those in the public, mixed, and private sectors, will commence next Tuesday, the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, which corresponds to 26 May 2026.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ministry's statement clarified that the holiday will conclude on Thursday, 18 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to 4 June 2026. Official working hours are set to resume across all units on Saturday, 20 Dhu al-Hijjah, corresponding to 6 June 2026. This schedule is in accordance with Law No. (2) of 2000, Article (3), Paragraph (2) regarding official holidays and leave, alongside relevant directives.
In light of this announcement, the Ministries of Civil Service and Administrative Development and Information extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to several key figures and groups. This includes the Revolution Leader, the President and members of the Supreme Political Council, the Prime Minister, members of the government, all Yemeni citizens, and members of the armed and security forces who are stationed in positions of honor and heroism.
