Hodeida: An elderly man and his daughter lost their lives, while his wife and a relative sustained injuries, due to shelling by Saudi-led aggression mercenaries on a civilian home in the rural area of Al-Jarahi district, Hodeida governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, relatives of the victims reported that the shell struck the house directly, resulting in the deaths of Abdullah Mohammed Khalouf, 60, and his daughter Rahma. The incident also left his wife and another relative seriously injured.
The attack not only claimed lives but also resulted in the loss of several livestock and caused damage to the family's property. The shelling incident has underscored the ongoing risks faced by civilians living in the district's rural areas amidst the conflict.
