Al-hodeida: A judicial meeting was held in Al-Hodeida Governorate, chaired by the Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority branch for Al-Hodeida and Raym governorates, Judge Dr. Jamal Al-Fuhaidi, to discuss the level of discipline in holding court sessions and the functioning of the courts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Head of the Court of Appeal Judge Ahmed Al-Jarmouzi, the Head of the Commercial Division Judge Abdulkarim Al-Salimi, the Head of the Second Criminal Division Judge Abduljalil Abbas, and the heads of the primary courts in the governorate. They reviewed the volume of case completion during the first quarter of the judicial year 1448 AH, with emphasis on prioritizing delayed cases and prisoner cases to ensure their expeditious resolution and the delivery of swift justice.
The meeting addressed the reasons for delays in printing judicial rulings, and an agreement was reached on practical solutions to tackle these issues. The heads of the courts presented challenges and obstacles, and appropriate solutions were discussed.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed circulars issued by the Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority. Notable among these were Circular No. (12) regarding the non-applicability of Article (294) of the Code of Civil Procedure, Circular No. (9) regarding adherence to official working hours and the early commencement of sessions, and Circular No. (10) regarding the reasoning of judicial rulings and decisions and the statement of their legal bases.
Judge Al-Fuhaidi urged judges to adhere to official working hours and expedite the resolution of cases, particularly delayed ones, stressing the importance of activating the judicial system to achieve justice and preserve rights. He praised the achievements made during the past year and emphasized the importance of building on them to redouble efforts, calling on judges to embody the morals of the noble Prophet as a foundation for fulfilling the mission of the judiciary.
