Sanaa: The Supreme Elections and Referendum Committee organized a speech event today to commemorate the 1446 AH anniversary of the "Sarkha in the Face of the Arrogant."

According to Yemen News Agency, Committee Chairman Judge Mohammed Al-Salami highlighted the significance of the "Sarkha" as a symbol of the Yemeni people's resilience. The slogan is a part of the Quranic project initiated by the late leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, which has gained global recognition. Al-Salami noted that the "Sarkha" has provoked adversaries and hindered their efforts to dominate the nation. He reiterated Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

During the event, Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Jalal spoke about the transformative impact of the slogan "The Scream," which has mobilized the Yemeni people from passivity to active resistance. Al-Jalal addressed the origins of the Quranic March and the creation of the slogan "The Scream," acknowledging the obstacles faced by its proponents and the achievements realized through their commitment to Quranic teachings. He emphasized that the slogan serves as a warning against American and Israeli dominance.

The event was attended by members, general managers, and employees of the Supreme Elections and Referendum Committee.
