Hajjah: The Local Water Corporation, alongside branches of the electricity corporation and the rural water projects and water resources authority in Hajjah, organized a commemorative event for the anniversary of the Sarkha (Cry) against dominant global powers.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event witnessed the presence of Province Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Qadi, and directors such as Engineer Amin Al-Maghles of the Local Water Corporation, Abdulrahman Thabet of the Electricity Corporation branches, and Ismail Al-Mahdi of the Water Resources Authority. Abdullah Miyah, the Dean of the Quran Sciences University branch in Hajjah, spoke on the significance of the Sarkha as a symbol for freedom-loving individuals worldwide. He highlighted its role in fostering a nation capable of overcoming global tyranny and instilling courage in the hearts of its people.
Miyah further elaborated on the slogan introduced by martyr leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, noting its profound impact and effectiveness in awakening a subdued nation to confront oppressive forces and disbelievers. He underscored the necessity of internal reform, adherence to divine guidance, the Prophetic path, and improved citizen services to ensure success.
The event also saw the participation of deputy directors Khaled Hameed from the Electricity Corporation branch and Ibrahim Hammoud from the Local Water Corporation, along with other department heads. Engineer Mohammed Abdulwadood, Technical Director at the Water Corporation, emphasized the slogan's critical role in opposing Islam's adversaries, including the U.S. and Israel, which he referred to as sources of terrorism and chaos.
Abdulwadood highlighted the martyr leader's contribution to launching the Sarkha slogan as a part of a significant Quranic project aimed at revitalizing a weakened and dependent nation. This project, he noted, exposed the falsehoods of hostile regimes and their agendas, correcting misconceptions and revealing deceptive narratives within the Arab world. He remarked that this year's commemoration occurs amidst pivotal developments, such as the Israeli escalation against Gaza and the U.S. aggression on Yemen, which concluded with a significant defeat and failure to meet its goals.
