Sana'a: Elite International University for Science and Technology in Sana'a organized a speech event on Sunday to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad. During the event, the significance of this commemoration was emphasized by various speakers who highlighted the enduring impact of the Prophet's teachings on the Muslim community.
According to Yemen News Agency, Higher Education Sector representative Yahya Al-Dhaani spoke about the honor and advancement the Muslim nation owes to the Prophet Muhammad. He stressed the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birth as a means to unite the nation and reflect on the noble values he embodied, such as justice, honesty, courage, and the promotion of love and peace. Al-Dhaani encouraged the audience to translate these values into action in their daily lives.
Dr. Fouad Al-Haddaa, Vice President of the university, also addressed the gathering, underscoring the educational aspect of commemorating the Prophet's birth. He pointed out that learning about the Prophet's character and biography offers valuable lessons, highlighting the transformation he brought to the Muslim nation-leading it from darkness to light and ignorance to knowledge.
Dr. Al-Haddaa further emphasized the importance of organizing activities that honor the magnitude of this occasion. He noted that such events reflect the deep love and attachment Yemenis have for the Prophet, and serve as a reminder to follow his guidance and adhere to his righteous path.
