Sanaa: The Women's Sector of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources organized a cultural and awareness event today on the occasion of the Mawlid al-Nabawi for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by female employees and workers from various sectors of the ministry. The Cultural Officer of the Ministry emphasized the importance of realizing the greatness of the Muhammadan message, which reflects the awareness of noble souls striving for freedom and noble morals. She highlighted how Yemeni women working in the Ministry of Agriculture use these educational occasions as an opportunity to draw inspiration from the Prophet's morals, thus elevating their educational role in building a cohesive society.
The Cultural Officer also emphasized the need to fortify society against the soft war and cultural targeting led by the U.S. and Israel, aimed at stripping women of the values and principles that Islam guaranteed them, after elevating their status and rescuing them from marginalization and degradation in the pre-Islamic era.
The event also featured presentations from the National Women's Committee highlighting the suffering of women before the Prophetic mission and how the Muhammadan message came to support the oppressed and save humanity from misguidance. Participants recalled the honorable historical role of Yemeni women who stood alongside the Prophet with their forefathers, the Ansar, and stressed the importance of today's "granddaughters of the Ansar" playing their role across various fields to meet the challenges of the current stage.
The event included a poetic recital and segments reflecting the significance of the occasion.
