Sana’a: The Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit, in coordination with the local authority of Sana’a Governorate and the Western Sector Cooperative Association, delivered an air compressor today to support community efforts in Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah District. This initiative is part of a program aimed at supporting community-driven road projects by assisting in stone-cutting operations for infrastructure development.
According to Yemen News Agency, the handover ceremony was attended by local officials, where Engineer Wahib Al-Tawil, the monitoring officer for the Central Interventions Unit, highlighted the importance of providing such equipment. Al-Tawil emphasized that these tools are essential for facilitating community-led projects, which are vital for the region’s development.
He further stressed the importance of maintaining the equipment to ensure its long-term use. Al-Tawil reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Local Administration and the Interventions Unit to continue supporting community initiatives. These efforts are seen as crucial in improving public services and fostering development, especially amid the current challenges faced by the country.
