Sana'a: The General Authority for Endowments and Guidance held a ceremony to honor 647 members of Al-Nour Center for the Blind, on the occasion of the Mawlid al-Nabawi, as part of the fifth phase of the "And Cooperate in Righteousness and Piety" project, at a cost of 4 billion riyals.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Fuad Naji, affirmed the Authority's continued support for the center and recalled the crime of the Saudi aggression's airstrike on the center that targeted blind students, considering it a stain that will not go unpunished. He called on the center's members to focus on the Quran and to participate in the central Mawlid event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.

Naji also addressed the "Tashil" (Facilitation) initiative for settling endowment rights, noting that the Authority's projects are funded by endowment revenues.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, Mohammed Uqabat, affirmed that commemorating the Mawlid reinforces solidarity and compassion, and stressed the importance of caring for the poor and needy.

The ceremony featured speeches, chanting segments, honoring of the members, and a lunch banquet.
